Keep the recipes. Try something new.

Bring your Paprika recipes with you.

Your recipe collection took time to build. Import a Paprika export into Sparky Cooks and give those familiar favorites a new place to live.

Start with an export

Export your recipes from Paprika in its recipe format. In the Sparky Cooks web app, open Import Recipes, upload the file, and review the summary before confirming.

  • A .paprikarecipe file for an individual recipe.
  • A .paprikarecipes file for a recipe collection.

The recipe details come along

When present in the export, the importer brings over the recipe name, description, ingredients, directions, notes, servings, and source URL. Paprika categories become recipe tags in Sparky Cooks.

Photos, with a little care

Supported photos embedded in the Paprika export can be imported with their recipes. Missing, unreadable, unsupported, or oversized photos may be skipped; check the import warnings. A photo link alone does not guarantee that the image transfers.

Settle in at your own pace

Review the imported recipes, organize them into folders, and add your own touches. Importing an export does not change your original Paprika collection.
