A place for your recipe files

The web app accepts several common file formats. What can be imported depends on the information contained in each file.

  • Plain text, Markdown, and HTML files.
  • Recipe data in Schema.org JSON or JSON-LD.
  • ZIP archives containing supported recipe files and Sparky Cooks library backups.

Review before you save

An import summary shows the recipes found and any warnings. When recipe titles match existing recipes, you can choose to skip them, import copies, or replace the existing recipes.

Your collection can come and go

File import, export, and backup are included on every plan. Export My Library lets you download your collection from the web app, so keeping a copy is part of the everyday tools.
